24 years of age. Son and eighth child of Mr.& Mrs. George M. Walker, Sr. He had been a member of the Missouri National Guard for five years, and was employed at the local Pullman car shops. He had lived at 2208 Randolph St., and was engaged to be married. He died from injuries received in a train wreck while his regiment was on it’s way to Camp George H. Thomas during the Spanish American War.
