Approaching the cot of Clement Platek, a 33-year-old Polish miner,
was his sunken-eyed wife and the mother of his three children.
She threw herself across his body and went into hysterics.
-Edward Pinkowski

Lattimer Massacre, List of Victims
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lattimer_massacre#List_of_victims
Note: The first list here is from the New York Herald of Sept 12, 1897. This list I have discounted because so often, in my research, newspapers of the day are amazingly careless with the names of foreign-born workers. The second list is from research done by Michael Novak for his fine book, The Guns of Lattimer. Novak’s list compares very well with that from the research of Edward Pinkowski and with the names on the memorial plaque.

List of names on page 15, see help with pronunciation on page 4.

Note: At list above, the first name is from Novak’s work and the second name is from Pinkowski’s work. The exception here is for the last name, Tarnowicz, where the first name is from Novak and the second name is from the Memorial Plaque.
