Statistics show that 14,000 coal miners miners have been slaughtered in the mines in the last 10 years. At the rate coal miners have been murdered in the last two months in the United States, the death rate will increase by leaps and bounds…..

Note: Colorado coal miners have especially suffered much these past two months. The mine disaster at Starkville (Rockefeller’s C. F & I.) on October 8th claimed the lives of 56 men; a month later to the day, the Delagua (Victor-American Fuel Co.) mine disaster brought death to 79 men.
